Similar to the thread for one (my) idea how to play against the Brits. Of course you can do the same tactic against a US-players too, but I recommend using the following. Reason is, that most US-players go for a fast M8 to counter the light vehicles of the PE and those can be very hard to hit/kill with Schrecks and Marders might come too late or being cricle strafed by several M8s, what a competent player will do.

What to think of first?

First you have to think about the faster capping of the US. Rifleman are the fastest capping infantry ingame, so you need to make sure you wont be out-capped early. A good US-player will try to avoid fighting your PGs with his rifles, except he outnumbers you. On some maps a double-ketten-start is useful, mostly on larger, more open maps, like Beaux or WreckedTrain.

So start with building either a second ketten or go directly to produce PGs. Around 4, maybe a few more later. Your first squads should get the G43-upgrade, it's very powerful against US.

Which buiding and units to get?

Against US I recommend starting with T1, the LogistikKompanie. Get some ScoutCars to fight the capping engineers off and to support your PGs against rifles, get behind the rifles when they are in cover for maximum effect. Next should be to get the 4man-upgrade for your PGs, then the US-rifles will have a very hard time against them. Get one or two ScoutCars to OP some medium/high sectors, especially fuel for faster teching, which is very important against US. Try to decap his flags with ScoutCars and Ketten, or even better, cut him off his resources.
Get AT-nades to be prepared for his M8s.

The next buiding would be the PanzerSupportCommand.
There you can get atleast 2 AT-HTs. They are a good counter to M8s, as you can use the "treadbreaker" ability to disable the M8's movement. Now stay out of his range and keep firing on it, the AT-HT got longer range, also you can use your AT-nades against it now, without the danger to miss.
Then you should get the "support upgrade", to have access to PIVs. These are good armoured tanks (get the side skirts before the MG!) and great versus infantry. Just make sure to stay out of the range of AT-guns, which the PGs should deal with.

Now you should be ready to deal with everything he is bringing on, note that the AT-HT also can use "focus fire", which will snipe one infantrist per shot, very powerful. To get any abilities reloaded faster, you can get a munitions-halftrack from the first building, a good combination with the AT- or the Mortar-HT.

You maybe can get the PanzerJaegerKommand now too, to get MP44s for your 4man-squads.

What doctrines to choose?

The decribtions for the doctrines is the same as in the other thread, but now the "TankHunter" doctrine is more useful. In case your teching is a bit slow or you want more AT-weapons then only the halftrack and nades, you can get the tellermines and the Hetzer. If your opponent is going "Airborne", then this is not a good choice, as he will have more AT to counter you.

"Luftwaffe" is a very good choice against the "Infantry" doctrine, as butterflybombs and Falls with FG42 will help you against Rangers when you dont have MP44s.

Hi Maniac

I have to agree with your strategy. I have been struggling with the lack of resources against the US and only just rediscovered the SC ability to cap. Having them then convert to a OP for additional fuel and muni is a godsend.

I'm still fine tuning my build order after the Logistik and SC build, but prefer the KK (definitely want the MTHT early) and then defensive for the health and forward HQ upgrade but it is looking good so far.

I'm finding that if I can engage the enemy and distract him enough from capping frenzy, I am floating a ton of resources late game (especially with SE doc) and then it seems an embarrassment of riches pushing out Hummels or Panthers with a lot more ease.

I wish I had read this much earlier on.
