Visual computing technology company Nvidia (NVDA.O) has unveiled the first mainstream 3D gaming technology at the inaugural NVISION 08 conference in San Jose, which focused on the convergence of technology with Hollywood, games and business.
Company of Heroes developer Relic hopes to turn a profit on China's piracy-dominated PC gaming community. Their proposed solution to the billion-dollar question, according to publisher THQ's press release, includes creating an "experience for online gamers where players will be able to build their character up from private to general through new multiplayer cooperative missions, gameplay modes, and player-versus-player combat" in a persistent RTS.
